Nowadays we are always busy with our career and therefore we often forget to keep ourselves healthy and fit. We spend most of our time sitting in front of computers or doing all kinds of job possible, forgetting the fact that we survive because of our body. If we neglect what our body and mind need, when we grow older, our body will be exhausted just because we treated it in a very unhealthy manner all these years. We may become fat and unhealthy without even realizing it. Therefore, it is our duty to take care of our body, nourish it in every way possible and try our best to keep it fit.
Some of the common reasons why people cannot lose weight are mentioned below:
1.Money overpowering health
We tend to utilize the most of the money spend on food by consuming more than what our body needs. We often keep eating not realizing the fact that it is beyond our body’s capacity to accumulate such large quantity of food. Fat gets deposited in every part of our body and sooner or later we become obese.
2.Laziness overpowers exercise
The main reason why many people are not able to lose weight is because they are simply lazy. Why do we become lazy? It is a natural outcome of realizing that our body will take care of us without us giving it any attention. If we are too lazy to exercise and eat healthy food every day, obesity will take control of our body and harm it.
3.Work overpowers our fitness
Since we want more than what we actually need, we strive hard to earn it in any way possible. We work hard forgetting that our health plays an important role in keeping us stable and alive. We spend most of our time in offices, and then go home and sleep. And if we get a few hours of free time, we are either engaged in watching TV or browsing the internet. We somehow manage to find any excuse to avoid taking care of our health.
4.Technology overpowering diseases
These days, we are all so engrossed in anything related to an updated technology. We spend our precious time watching videos, playing games, etc. Even toddlers can now operate smartphones and sit in front of them for hours. Although the modern technology helps in spreading information and keeping everyone updated with others’ day-to-day activities, you can imagine how adults get deviated from what they should actually be doing- being active and preventing themselves from various diseases like obesity.
5.Surgeries overpowering hard work
The obese people can go for a surgery to get rid of the excess fat in their body. Many people do not care about staying healthy because they think the surgeons will make them forget how they were within a few days. As a result, they do not prefer working hard to keep fit.Tags: Losing Weight
